Spiderman

This morning at breakfast I noticed two bites on Manny; one on his finger and the other on his wrist. I wondered, out loud, if they were mosquito bites or spider bites. Manny looked at me very seriously like he really had been thinking and said, "If I got bit by a spider........that must mean......I'm SPIDERMAN!!!!

Manny's first day of preschool

Manny started full day preschool today. He was so excited to go back to school and got on that bus without a problem (same driver and monitor as last year). We went yesterday for an orientation and he didn't want to leave. He has a new teacher and a few students in his new class from last year. He seemed very comfortable and happy to be there. I can't believe my baby is going to kindergarten next year :(

Taina's first day of 4th grade

Taina started 4th grade this year and LOVES it! She will switch for some classes and has her own little "club".....I am so happy she is excited about this school year!

Space Farms

Caitlin and I took the boys to Space Farms in Sussex, NJ. It was a quick ride (45 min) and not what I thought it would be from the website. It was a decent size (much smaller than Bronx Zoo) but we felt sorry for the animals. They weren't in their "natural" habitat or even close to feeling that way. They were in metal cages with not much else. Most of them were pacing back and forth and seemed bored.

Any how, the boys enjoyed seeing the animals and Manny loved the museum the best. It was full of old toys (he wanted all of them on his Christmas list), old cars and buggies. Julian enjoyed the old tractors.

Manny got a new toy today...no different than any other day...and Julian kept bothering him and smacking his toys off the table. He would pick them up and hit Manny in the head with them. Manny was getting quite upset and I really couldn't think of any other way to keep Julian away.
